The BMW 1M Coupe was launched in 2011 with a £40,000 price tag, it was among the first proper M cars to use turbocharging, its 335bhp twin-turbo 3-litre straight-six engine driving the rear wheels via a slick six-speed manual gearbox, its performance is impressive with a 4.8sec 0-60 time and an electronically limited 155mph top speed. Unlike anything that’s arrived since at a comparable price or shape, the 1M was also limited to 450 UK RHD Cars. Of those only 132 were Sapphire Black, so the rarest as well as perhaps the most desirable colour.
