Up for sale my personal estate s211 E220cdi, manufacturing year late 2004, Reg 53 . Due to change of requirements the car is a surplus. 245k miles on the clock, that may increase slightly as its still being used on a daily basis. The car has been in the family past 7 years. We did circa 45k miles during this time. Took the car from a family friend who had it for about 5 years before us. I do not have any service history from dealer. It has been serviced regularly, oil & filter been changed every 6k miles as should be. Although high mileage on the clock the car has plenty of resource left, its has always been reliable car and never let us down. Mainly used as a family car, and mainly on motorway. Its a proper workhorse with a bulletproof engine that is really very cheap to maintain. Economy on motorway easily over 48 mpg, city with traffic-above 30mpg. Fresh MOT till September 2026 with no advisories. Clean car inside, no pets. Original MB mats in very good condition. V5 logbook , 2keys. During my ownership replaced with new: - brake disks & brake pads - majority of front and rear suspension components - one of air struts at the back (no time to do the other one, still new in the box ) - ATF and filter 25k miles ago - 4x glow plugs (Bosch, 2024) - all injectors cleaned, tested and re-seated with new copper washers - EGR being cleaned last time in 2024 - gear selector (2023) - headlights polished (2024) - engine oil & all filters changed 5k miles ago, next change planned for October -A/C refilled (2023) No issues with engine, Turbo charger, EGR and SBC. A/C works as it should. A set of w211 facelift 16" alloys with good summer tyres Continental Eco Contact size 225/55/16 all around with thread over 5mm and a set of w211 pre-facelift 16" alloys with 2x Pirelly Sotozero & 2x GoodYear winter tyres in very good condition with thread over 6mm. Both summer and winter tyres would easily do another one or two seasons depend on driving. The original alloys are not in great condition and would benefit a refurbishment. Due to a minor accident on a parking in 2018 it was cat-N , front passenger door was replaced, back passenger door was fixed. Nothing serious that affects driving. Bodywork not too bad although scratches and dents all around, I would say normal for its age. There were MOT advisories few years ago about rusts around the arcs but that was addressed in the local garage. Looks a bit patchy but no more rusts and advisories any more of concern.
