Absolutely stunning Mini Roadster, it's been an absolute pleasure to drive Peggy, she is a stunning Mini. Extensive and full service history, this is a car that has been exceptionally well maintained and it'll be hard to find another one at this spec with this level of low mileage. The good points: Very low mileage Amazing bodywork in VGC K&N Filter Harman Kardon high-performance sound system Red Brake Calipers Tinted Windows Upgraded Windbreaker Heated seats Roof is in fantastic working condition Was recently valued at 7,000 and as only approximately 6,000 roadsters were made in the UK, the more high spec Mini's will continue to go up in value. The not so good points: Firstly, the roadsters are known for having issues with the spoiler mechanism (it automatically extends when the car hits 50mph) however, if there are problems with the spoiler, the Mini will issue an ongoing alarm sound which is quite possibly the most annoying noise in the world. Peggy's spoiler unfortunately has stopped working and the alarm has been kindly driving us potty. The good news is we've investigated the issue and in our case, the motor arm has actually snapped. Replacements are approximately 500 new. Secondly, at the last MOT two of the tyres were flagged as needing replacement soon. The mileage when the MOT was done was 55,325 and today, its 56,585 so I haven't changed the tyres yet as they still have life left in them. Knowing that the car was valued at 7,000 but needing the above work, I've set the sale price at 6,000 to reflect the above work.I am open to sensible offers. Why am I selling: There are three reasons, but the main one is I now mostly work from home due to a worsening hip condition so I probably use Peggy once a week. On top of that, because of my hip condition, I don't find Peggy as comfy as our family car and comfort is taking priority. Lastly, when I do go into work, I'm not driving as I'm mostly using the train because of my hip. I love my Mini very much, but I can't justify keeping her for a quick drive once a week to the shops :( Whomever buys this car will be thrilled, she's an absolute gem to drive - and such good fun!
