For sale is my 1997 Morgan Plus 4. This car was fully rebuilt by the previous owner who had bought a clean titled chassis from Melvin Rutter in 2017 as the basis for his retirement project - to build a Morgan Plus 4. He managed to find a new and unused Rover T16 engine from Pete Gowling or Merlin cars fame, this was fitted to the original gearbox and rear axle. The Ash frame is completely new as are all the body panels, these were fitted by marque specialists VSM Malvern. Clearly there is a very long list of new parts from indicator stalks to wire wheels suffice to say that there are receipts totalling over thirty three thousand pounds. I have had a new hood made for the car - with side screens and also fitted two later seats, newly reupholstered. I have hardly used the car as it didn't fit into my life as I'd hoped - I keep thinking I will have time to enjoy it but it's hardly done any miles in the last two years and so it is time to think about letting it go. Due to it's lack of use it could do with a little recommissioning that said it passed it's MOT first go this year. The interior needs finishing - carpets and vinyl trim but otherwise it's good to go. I'm afraid the weather has stopped me taking out for a photoshoot - the photo in the ad was taken in 2022 after getting the new hood fitted. For what effectively a nearly new Morgan T16 I think it is keenly priced.
