VW Golf MK5 GTI - Well-Maintained, Mostly OEM, Drives Brilliantly Reluctantly selling my MK5 Golf GTI. It's a higher-mileage example, but don't let that put you off it's been meticulously maintained throughout its life, with full service history and a folder of paperwork to back up every job. Mechanically it's spot-on and has never wanted for anything. Unlike a lot of GTIs on the market, this one is almost completely OEM. The only tasteful upgrades are: Scorpion exhaust - great tone without being antisocial Engine map - a subtle performance lift and a bit more excitement It drives fantastically well: tight steering, smooth power delivery, and exactly the kind of balanced, lively feel the GTI is known for.
