I bought this car in February 2017 and am selling it because I have bought a newer Volvo. I am the second owner (the last owner bought it in July 2002). Since I bought it I have had it looked after by an independent mechanic using parts supplied by Volvo. This car is ULEZ compliant - I have uploaded a screenshot. Notable points about the service history: A new (Volvo) clutch was installed in 2019 The timing belt was changed in 2017 (shortly after I bought it) and again in May 2025 when the car was last serviced New air conditioning compressor 2022 New air mass meter 2024 (this was done by Volvo in Elstree) New battery August 2024 4 x new (April 2025) Michelin Pilot tyres which are quiet and excellent in the dry / wet I have all the receipts. Notable points about the car: Tow bar which I had fitted and which has only ever used to tow a bike rack and an empty trailer Surprisingly fuel efficient - even driving round North London I get 29 mpg. On a run fully laden I can get 33 mpg. Electric windows Leather seats Cruise control Electric mirrors Auto-dimming rear view mirror Integrated Parrot phone connection Integrated child booster seats Integrated table in rear seat Electrically operated child locks 12V connection in boot Nivomat (self-levelling) rear shock absorbers (which make a massive difference with a full load) 7 seats - 2 child seats in the boot Quite low mileage Huge boot as anyone with knowledge of V70s will know - it fits a large fridge freezer with the back seats down. The bodywork is generally good as you can see from the photos. A moped drove into the nearside rear panel earlier this year but it caused hardly any damage and looks ok. The only thing which doesn't work is the heated element in the nearside wing mirror (which I have only just discovered). The driver's side mirror heated element works fine. The car will be sold with number plate V70CNP (which it had when I bought it).
