This car is new to us but we are now emigrating to Australia in the new year which leads us to the sale. The car is spectacular, a former mountain rescue vehicle. Extremely low mileage (27 k) With a Full Vosa Historv to Verifv miles. (VOSA being the UK Service Vehicles MOT, so fastidious on its checks). It still enjoys a service vehicle status and therefore commands no TAX, though whether this can continue is to be confirmed. Original and best Puma TD5 engine. With The 5 Cylinder Timing Chain Engine, so the engine is Bomb Proof. It never coughs to get going. Purrs when it starts. No nasty smells. No oil leaks on its history. (A bad past experience forced us to be religious about this). Bodywork pristine all round as it largely lived in a Mountain rescue garage. We noticed many newer landys were knackered compared to this, despite its age. Clean grey vinyl seats underneath but we bought safari style covers from South Africa to protect. These can be untied if not for you. The vehicle has gone through six weekly checks since new, so it is highly maintained and looked after. It is very rare being a Utility version, only one made that year. This car was built for purpose as a Special Vehicle by Land Rover. Fairly standard model inside, with little electrics to go wrong. 5 speed manual transmission, BF Goodrich A/T Tyres , Wolf Rims, side steps, mud flaps. The works we undertook with MID engineering upon purchase, July 2025: Install air-conditioning. Install soundproofing throughout.Install rear benches with belts.Install 'mud' rear window grille for expedition organiser bags (photographed). Install side steps all round. Re-activate battery shut off switch as a neat security mechanism. Plus other additions and repairs. (cost 9k). All receipts and warranties can be provided.
