Great engine. Very powerful, starts first time, every time. However, this car has a number of issues so here is an honest list of the good and the bad: 1. A recent MOT has highlighted an issue with the steering column and has therefore not passed the MOT. So this car has NO MOT. 2.There is a problem with the transmission automatic where is sometimes does not go into gear properly when starting the car. It is resolved by turning car off and back on when car is in neutral. We have spoken to a Mercedes dealership and the part can be ordered (fairly inexpensive) but the labour for fitting the part makes it too expensive for us to consider. This has been the case for 2 years and we have been driving it the whole time. This has not affected the MOT. 3. The electric sunroof doesn't work. We have used it with the top down, but only by manually operating it. 4. The interior of the car is well used and a bit tatty in some places. 5. The boot electric lock has an issue and as a result it doesn't lock. The good: 1. The other electrics seem fine- heated seats, cruise control, automatic windscreen wipers, windows, locking mechanism etc all work well. 2. The engine is great. It's still a fun car to drive. 3. Has spare key, very good service history only had 3 owners since new (25 years ago!)
