Description
1972 chrome-bumper MGB GT in Harvest Gold. I've owned and used the car regularly and it's been a solid, enjoyable classic.
It's had a replacement 1.8 B-Series engine fitted around a year ago, along with a new clutch, slave cylinder and battery. It starts easily, runs well and pulls nicely. I still drive it, so it's not been laid up.
The car has been resprayed and had replacement doors and bonnet fitted. Overall it presents well for its age. Structurally it's decent, but it's a 50-year-old MG, so I'm not going to pretend it's perfect or "show condition". HPI clear.
Inside, it's largely original. The dash and trim are still there, black seats fitted (one has a split), and it's on Rostyle wheels.
Things to be aware of: the passenger door isn't opening at the moment, the driver's window doesn't work, and it can get warm in traffic if you're sitting still for a long time, though it's fine when moving.
It's a genuine, usable MGB GT that drives well and would suit someone who wants a classic they can use and improve rather than a polished show car. Priced to reflect the condition and the bits that need sorting.
Viewings welcome.
