I've owned my Celica 2.0 GT for six years. It is totally reliable, with a fantastic engine and gearbox. It also looks great of course. I like a standard car, so it is entirely original inside and out. The exterior and interior are good for its age, as you can see in the pictures. The car is serviced each year and gets whatever it needs: this last year it has needed welding, plus two new tyres and a shock absorber for the MOT, all done. The paint is good for the age but the roof has lacquer peel as in the pic and there's bubbling on the bottom of the driver's door, which doesn't really detract from the car. The MOT does still have advisories for corrosion but I've tried to show that the underside is pretty good, especially after recent work, so she is still a solid car. A surprise fly in the ointment for me was that when I checked the documents a few years ago I noticed it had had a Cat C at some stage, though it wasn't mentioned by the seller. It has never affected the car and not even been mentioned by my mechanic. I'm the fourth owner of the car and it has a history file with books and a signed service book to 83K. Two keys. Viewing and driving is very welcome; she is after all an old girl and whilst she's pretty good she does have age-related wear which only you can make a judgement on.
