Beautiful Ocean Blue Metallic Body with Dark Blue Electric Soft Top and light Grey full leather interior. Finished off with Anthracite Grey 18 inch BBS Split rims (original factory optional extra), this has to be one of the nicest looking MK1 TTs out there. Lovingly looked after, and I've always kept it in the garage. The bodywork is excellent with zero Rust, leather seats and interior are very clean and to be honest incredible for the age, mechanically top and the engine purrs beautifully. Completely original with no modifications and low mileage, this car is a joy to drive and certainly a future classic. With many abused examples out there, it took me a long time to find this one, and over the years its not gotten any easier to find a good one. And now the catch. I have been living over in Germany for a long time now and because of doing such low miles on the car I took it off the road. The Car is currently SORN (since 2019) and has been stored well in a dry garage since then. I always had the intention of getting it back on the road, but now with a young child in Germany, I don't make it back to England so often, and someone else should enjoy the car! Logically though, cars don't like standing this long, and sadly it now needs a little work to get it back up and running again. As it stands, it needs a new Battery, getting all the old fuel out and cleaning everything up, Oil change and a new MOT, also there is the classic problem with the LED display (as seen in the photos). Realistically there will probably be some other niggles from standing so long, that is the gamble and the reason for the price. To get a Garage to do the work (including picking it up on a trailer first), its obviously expensive, hence my not wanting to do it, if you are a hobbyist, then significantly less! If I were selling it serviced with new MOT, I think somewhere around 6-6.5k would be fair. But with the risk involved, and that its very difficult get it done from over here in Germany, I am aware I have to take the hit.
