Description

VW EOS 2.0 TFSI with approx. 121k miles (used weekly at present so subject to slight increase). The car was bought in Feb 25' for a Scotland trip (over 2k miles) which this car did without any issues. The 2.0 turbo engine started on the button every time. Since purchase, I've serviced this car twice, just prior to this MOT (for fluids) and a full service (fluids, filters incl. fuel filter) last year (around 3k ago). I've also replaced the following last year ready for my trip: 1). Offside Drive shaft (was an advisory on last year's MOT). 2). Low pressure turbo pipe+ DV Valve (as there was a weep noticed on purchase). 3). Brake Discs (front) and pads all round. 4). The car had a modern android (touchscreen) fitted, I've changed back to its original supplied unit (as I hate touchscreens) can supply this if needed. 5). New Battery - as was low on Amps. Just passed MOT with 3 advisories, ball joint (replaced), CV boot N/S (again replaced) and advisory for both front tyres (will need changing at some point). What works well: Folding roof & sunroof both work brilliantly. Previous owner had used sealant to prevent water which isn't great. This wasn't doing a great job and the car smelt musty. I removed 99% of this and treated the seals to Krytox (which is what VW use when servicing the roofs). Much better, smells fine now. The car has a great engine, picks up well, does burn a little oil due to age as normal. Red heated leather seats work, unsure if original but are very comfy. Auto lights / self levelling / see home / parking sensors / auto dim - all good. Climate control great (cold air-con too). ULEZ compliant, was able to drive through Edinburgh etc. Two keys, some history / stamps & s/book. Cambelt done at 99k (shown on a receipt). Please bear in mind it's a 20 year old car, she isn't perfect, paint - some scratches, none of these issues affect the great driving experience: Old stereo cuts out after 30 mins (press on again for 30 more). I added a bluetooth module (on aux) for phone & streaming/calls. Has SD & Single CD - all of which work. Folding mirrors have never folded (but do heat and dim), suspect fold motors. Dash has classic middle LCD issue (EOS cars suffer from), the LCD unit dims by itself after a while of driving. Rest of the dash is ok. Never bothered me. Drivers electric lumber buttons don't work. Great honest car, selling as using camper for this years big trip. Accompanied test drive needs proof of license & insurance.
