Description
I was first after one these for the sound of the supercharger (which is flippin' mint) but I'm sooo glad that when hunting for one of these cars, I went for a Checkmate that comes with the factory-fit limited slip differential which really hangs on in corners.
This car has a great service history with plenty of stamps and a full set of plugs done on the last service at 112935 miles before I picked this up. On top of that, it has most recently had a powder coated front subframe, both front wheel bearings, polybushed front control arms, plus inner and outer tie rod ends.
And under my ownership, it has had a service, engine mounts replaced, steering fluid feed hose changed, and the gear box oil changed. Oh and if you've driven a standard R53 you won't need me to say that upgrading brakes and discs to the Gen 2 Mini (R56) ones was an excellent choice cos you know, it actually stops now.
It comes with 2 keys and a wedge of paper work. There's a bit of lacquer peel and a touch of bubbling in the usual Mini places but I've kept it under cover over the winters. I'd genuinely love to keep it but there's a couple of things that have forced my hand including a garden in need of attention that I've been "encouraged" to prioritise.
Ta for taking a look and give me a shout if you have any questions.
