Volkswagen Passat for sale. DSG. Excellent runner, good on fuel. FULL ENGINE REFURBISHMENT (HAS ONLY DONE 12,000 MILES ON THIS FRESH ENGINE. This car is one of the most reliable cars you will drive and it's a shame I'm selling it now. Bought the car in December 2021 from a dealership. A week later the cam belt snapped and the engine components broke as well where it needed a new engine or an engine refurbishment. I bought this car from a dealership and the dealership were liable by law to either give me a replacement/repair or a refund of the car. They decided to let me choose a mechanic of my choice to repair the car. Once the work was completed the mechanic gave the car back to me. I've driven it since then and I've had no problems with the car whatsoever. It drives spot on, it's had a new turbo, new cambelt and etc when the refurbishment was being carried out. I've tried getting the paperwork from the mechanic for the work which was carried out however the mechanic has turned around and said he hasn't received the funds from the dealership so he's got no paperwork/receipt. Your more than welcome to bring a mechanic with you of your choice and carry out any checks you want on the car. I can provide you with the garage details who carried out the work on the car and you can check with them yourself if your in any doubt. Only downside is there is an engine management light, I've had this checked out and all it is a sensor. It's been there since the refurbishment was completed in early 2022 and it hasn't affected the car whatsoever. Like I said if your in any doubt bring a mechanic with you to check.
