I bought this TT in an E bay auction. It needed more TLC than I bargained for. Iv'e spent money on it. The car alarm was compromised in a complex way (bodged). I fixed the problem. It cost me! There is absolutely no problem with the car alarm now. It's perfect, as is the new binnacle, and new Lcd display, and two new keys which work perfectly. Only 81K. Very good condition. Great engine, runs just like it should (mechanics words). Fabulous, classy, mindboggling, original tan baseball interior! Far, far, far, far better than the later baseball. The most absolutely vital thing to be done as the engine reaches 80K, as I have read, is the all important cambelt and water pump, Haldex unit oil change and filter. This has been done. Full major service, fluids, done August '21. I only do 3K a year in it. New discs, pads, front wishbones, Loads of work done recently, including CV boots, new Lamda sensor, new MAF sensor, new cabin filter, new track rod end, new dipstick holder, Bushes done, No Rust! No leaks, oil or water, underneath. Runs and drives perfectly. No squeaks, rattles, judders, whines. Clutch and gearbox are good. Starts 1st. time, every time! Turbo spools up nicely. Smooth as a schmoo! There are no mechanical issues with this car, repeat, none! Drivetrain is bang on! Bodywork is vgc, all except the dent. No "wet" bits around the arches. The dent is what it is. I have never bothered with it. It's hardly a big deal, Rear screen (usual problem) is as fixed A' B' Poss. I'm working on it. Hood works just fine. No cold air, Heater works robustly, Just no A/c! No old history at all, not a jot, I never received the promised "bulging file of service history". Only recent stuff. No need to be suspicious! This is not some worn out, beat up, cheap, nasty, rusty, old budget banger, with a dodgy MOT! Iv'e fixed all the mechanical issues. Inspection are welcomed. An efficient, Teutonic road machine! Reliable! Solid. Champagne motoring for lemonade money! Wheels have been refurbished, powder coated. Wet weather tyres all round. New battery in Dec'., '23. new thermostat as well. Just had two new front shocks', and bottom ball joint (Feb' 24), and comprehensive wheel alignement package. Being picky, Brake pipes are getting a little ...."Crusty". Got a new MOT till september 2024. Great little car. Only selling coz' I can't afford two cars................ Silver, £5,000
