Description

Drives brilliantly according to Land Rover enthusiast MOT Inspector. Flew through MOT - no advisories, as expected. The car is good to make it to coveted vintage status, 40 years old, a future classic, provided it is looked after properly ~ It's what I wanted to do with it. This car will take you in considerable comfort down the motorway at speeds well in excess of the legal limit. It will pull a loaded horsebox up the side of a mountain. Not all Disco 2s will do these things. There are some really bad ones out there. It took me several years to source this one, after test driving more Disco 2s than I care to remember. The fundamentals of this car are about as good as it gets. Looked after it will keep on giving. The 'Engine runs like a watch' Land Rover Specialist Garage ~ car is a quality example and they advised me to keep it ~ Owned it for almost 18 years ~ 'Outstanding' underneath MOT inspector ~ Runs on a 'quality' LPG system, about half the price of petrol ~ Has a great ride (ACE) ~ It's quick - Click on 'Message Seller' and ask for a video to see for yourself ~ Automatic gearbox makes it great for towing, which we've done occasionally ~ has huge carrying capacity, great for all sorts ~ Detailed service history ~ Had 96,000 mile service by Land Rover specialist garage which checks over the entire car and includes gearbox oil change ~ 2 keys ~ Speedometer in MPH not kilometres as in Japanese imports ~ Original toolkit, manuals ~ Some minor faults so money taken off price ~ Any inspection welcome ~ MOT to October 2024 - Selling because of my daughter's illness ~ Car should continue to increase in value, as this incredibly versatile type of car gets rarer and rarer. Buy with confidence. If you're serious about buying a Disco 2, you really need to check this car out. It's an 'honest' car. It's a great car, great value, a great opportunity. Don't miss out! It won't be for sale forever. Price is only going up. If it doesn't sell, I'll just keep it. (Personalised number plate not included.) Next MOT due 20/10/2023, Blue, 3 owners, £7,350
