Modern classic, this 2004 (ULEZ compliant) Vauxhall Monaro (big boot) tuned from factory by Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) in the top VXR trim with the factory engine and exterior upgrades with the AP Big Brake kit (6 piston front, 4 piston rear) and Pedders Extreme XA fully adjustable coilover kit. The Corvette derived LS1 V8 engine making 382bhp and 510nm mated to a six speed manual makes this a unique driving experience in the UK, the engine has immense low end grunt and pulls like a train! Or you can just enjoy the typical American V8 engine rumble at tick-over. Purchased June 2023 and well loved and looked after but due to changing circumstances can't afford to run it as a daily. Great motorway runner with long 6th gear with creature comforts cruise control, automatic lights and rear view mirror and rear parking sensors. Car has long MOT (09 Nov 24) and recently had steering rack refurb with new tie rod ends and anti-roll bar links with tracking done. New power steering oil lines and oil cooler. Serviced replacing oil and oil filter, thermostat and coolant. Replaced Gas struts all round to hold bonnet and boot up properly. 2 new tyres only a year ago. Approaching 20 years old this car is in very good condition and drives great. The interior has only mild wear on drivers seat with no big marks or scuffs on any seats. The radio head unit screen no longer works but all other is working and current station/volume etc shows on drivers display. Most bodywork still looks great, the bonnet and front bumper have a few stone chips with a small dent on one front fender panel. Where rear spoiler connects to bonnet showing light corrosion. All 4 wheels have some curb rash and could do with a refurb. Springs have surface corrosion all round but are structurally sound. No test drives without proof of fully comp insurance or 3rd party and available funds (Cuvva works great for temporary insurance). Car is HPI clear, not imported, crashed or stolen.
