I am selling my much beloved Mercedes R500 5.5 Euro5 (ULEZ EXEMPT) V8. The car is sublime to travel with, however will be moving out of the UK and not taking the car with me only because it is Right hand drive. I have bought it a year ago beginning of Oct 2023, and have since changed all fluids (incl. gearbox diffs and transfer case) and filters, all 4 suspension airbags, various suspension components, put an 2300 LPG system in it, changed oil cooler gaskets and some vacuum hoses. Generally taken care of it, as it never was the plan to part with it so early. It has some age related marks but nothing too major. The car was registered as a Private Hire Vehicle at Cardiff Airport hence if you look at the MOT it has done 10 000 miles in 6 months. However got a much better job opportunity within walking distance from home and the car has done 2 000 miles since April. The latter being another reason for it being sold. The engine is the M273 - 388 hp, 5.5 Naturally aspirated V8 with timing chain -if oil is changed as needed, 300 000 miles is easily achievable. Professionally fitted LPG system - LPG is half the price of petrol as per now, so not that expensive to run! Gearbox - 7G tronic - super smooth with 4x4 4Matic. The car's air suspension is faultless - goes up/down , autolevels and comfort/sport dampers work as should - the ride is superb! Top of the range Harmon/Kardon sound system with back up camera and parking sensors. Front and rear heated seats. Continental tyres all around. Actually usable 3rd row of seats. If you are after a cheap R-class - look at diesel ones. The big V8 ones ask for a premium. The R63's with the 6.2 V8 go for 35 000 pounds, so this one at this price with a more reliable engine (just gogle 6.2 AMG head bolts) is a bargain. Located in Cardiff. Scammers will be ignored.
