Description

For sale is my beloved BMW E46 M3. One of the best colour combinations Carbon-Schwarz with an Imola-red leather interior. The car comes with the usual M3 extras such as parking sensors, Sat Nav, electric and heated front seats, Harmon Kardon sound system and a sunroof. In the 4 years I have owned it has been my pride & joy. It has taken me on several road trips and has been faultless throughout. The car has been serviced at once a year with only high-quality Motul products used for Engine oil, Brake fluid, Engine coolant, and Power Steering fluid. During my ownership, the following has been done: All 4 brake callipers were refurbished with fresh disks and pads. Braided brake hoses fitted and new fluid. Powerflex subframe bushes fitted. All 4 wheels were refurbished (now have a couple of marks but still look fresh). The rear subframe is reinforced with weld-in plates to mitigate the common crack problem. New Rear springs. Cleaned and serviced intake system to mitigate actuator sticking. New Battery. 2 x New Bridgestone Potenza tyres on Rear (late 2022)+ Receipts for many more. Given it is a 2002 model the car obviously has some age-related marks. The exterior of the car has recently been professionally valeted and polished so it looks very presentable. However, there are a few stone chips and a couple of very small dents. Easy low-cost paintless repair. One front arch is showing small signs of surface corrosion but the other 3 corners are very good. The passenger mirror is a bit weak, the electronics work but possibly need a new motor. The Sunroof works but feels like it is catching approximately halfway through its travel. The tilt works fine. On the interior, the sat nav works, but the screen is showing its age. The interior is in overall good condition but the plastic trim is showing some signs of its age. Engine-wise, there is no knocking, no smoke, and still pulls as it should. I have not done the big end bearings. I have done two oil analyses; the first analysis was done when I first bought it on old oil which wasn't the best. After a full service and running for several months, I did another analysis which was very good. Both reports are available. The biggest issue mechanically with the car is the Diff, it is making a scraping noise when you turn. When you drive normally on the road in a straight line it is fine, cornering at speed is also fine but on slow tight turns you can hear it making a light noise. In my opinion, the diff needs to be refurb. Next MOT due 04/09/2023, Part service history, Black, 5+ owners, £15,500
