Description

Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2.0 classic, jdm. Gc8, v4. Just had a new thick wall, short engine (bottom end) 25/6/23 from Roger Clark installed. I opted for the RCM head gaskets which brought the bill to an extra 750.. (total engine bill was 7k(receipts).All parts purchased from Roger Clark. Mot until 10/24. Syvecs ecu installed, was mapped to 307hp by Duncan/ race-dynamics,2k spent. Can take more hp easily. The engine has been built to take around 450-500hp. I just wanted a strong engine. Basically on a safe map but still quick. The car's had a new vf34 turbo from aet turbos 1k-now 1800 new! aluminium radiator, exedy clutch all installed in 2020. Brand new rear discs and pads, new/refurbished original callipers on the front and new pads. Ive had 4 new recent tyres, wheels powder coated /refurb in anodic bronze. Since the build I've done around 2500 miles and had 3 oil changes. Millers running in oil after 500 miles/filter and same again after another 500 miles.(1000 miles running in) Is now running with millers top end, fully synthetic oil/ new filter and was going to change every 4K miles. These cars in their original state are becoming rare so this is only going up in value which this car is. The bodywork is straight and true with no visible dents/rust, new starter motor, new immobiliser. New key fob. I've spent over 24k on the car so I think it's a good investment for someone and a good deal. I've only ever put v power or Tesco momentum in the car as it's imported and that's what it's been mapped on. I've had 2 new rear brake lines for 450. Great condition underneath for its age and is far off needing attention, it must have had a good underseal job when imported in 2007. Again, doing anything like underside work in the future will just add value and restore this classic even more. This car is becoming very rare and this has a brand new engine! All the wheel arches have been refreshed/ all welding work done and look like new by previous owner. New rear shocks and eibach springs, new front brake discs. There are a few minor things like tiny rip on bolster on drivers seat, Bonnet has a few stone chips etc. nothing major. I'm not wanting to sell the car really but feel like I have to for financial reasons. I think these cars will jump up in value very soon.. has to be one of the best cars I've driven and sounds amazing. Black, 5+ owners, £18,750
