This classic Series 2 A or Land rover 88, has been fully restored, from the chassis up. The restoration started in 2009. Built on a Marsland galvanised chassis , and powered by a restored 200TDI diesel. ( the classic Land rover engine unit). The vehicle has only done 7700 miles since restoration and has been dry garage stored.The body is fitted with a full canvas tilt, easily removed for summer driving. The full galvanised chassis is fitted with parabolic springs. The gear box has a Fairy Overdrive . Body work fully restored with new door panels and resprayed in classic Land rover green. In my ownership in the last 5 years I have replaced all shock absorbers, and overhauled the brake system. Rebuilt the top of the engine following a cylinder head gasket failure. Replaced the rear diff. Fitted new glow plugs. Fitted new 14" coolant fan. All invoices and service records are available to view, from the point of restoration.
