UNIQUE LOTUS ELISE BELL & COLVILL TURBO This is a unique car, converted by Bell & Colvill for the previous owner in 1999. It is the only dealer-made turbocharged road going Elise on a UK plate, and the extra power gives it ridiculous acceleration, compared to the standard engine, I'll show you when you view it. 675 kg (down from 725) and 220 bhp (up from 118) will do that to a car. The handling and grip are insane, as you would expect from a suspension kit and cut slicks. The tyres and brakes cany can cope with masses of abuse on a track. It is road legal (has an MOT), but it is a track monster, boasting Speedline alloys, lowered suspension, race brakes, plastic rear screen, and carbon-fibre roof, forged pistons, 4-point harnesses, racing seats, Momo detachable steering wheel and a straight-through pipe so you can take off the cat if you want for track days.
