In the years between 2002 and 2012 the car covered 3100 miles and expenditure over this period included a G60 Stage 4 overhaul, G60 chip and pulley kit, Cambelt replacement, new starter motor, alternator belt, water outlet, new clutch, drive shaft flanges and diff seals. The car spent six years near Toulouse and needed little work, just light maintenance over the small mileage it has covered. On arrival back in the UK the Golf was treated to a major service, new strut top mounts and a full complete re-spray in the cars original colour.
