This Fantastic 1983 Series III has a desirable Safari top, It was originally registered in December 1983 making it one of the last Safari's to come off the production line meaning it benefits from all Land Rover enhancements, such as tinted windows, wing mirrors fitted on door hinges and rear wiper. This beautiful Land Rover has been sympathetically restored some years ago, it has all original bodywork, chassis and bulkhead. The interior is of high quality and in great condition. The car presents wonderfully in Land Rover Masai Red complemented by the contrasting white Safari roof and classic white steel wheels. The 2.3litre petrol engine has had a cylinder head overhaul with unleaded fuel specification and all the engine ancillaries have either been replaced or renewed including the carburettors and radiator. The transmission was rebuilt a while ago and there is no noise or movement in the drivetrain. The Chassis and the Bulkhead are both in excellent condition, the suspension, brakes and all steering parts have all been renewed. The original body was stripped, new rear wing and door skin was fitted and completely repainted. Has been very well loved and taken care of, got ample paper work for lots of recent work.
