It's been a fantastic useable everyday super saloon and combines great comfort with pace. This is a facelift June 2002 M5, so has a number of factory engine & body revisions making it the best of the breed. In addition to the usual M5 extras (xenons, electric heated seats, DSC, automatic air conditioning etc) it has a number of options which enhance it above your standard M5: Alcantara Headliner, Extended Leather Dash, Aluminum Dash Trim, Climate Comfort Windscreen, Electric Sunroof, Electric Rear Sun Blind, PDC, Rain Sensing Wipers, Navigation System & TV, 6 CD changer, BMW Individual Audio System (see factory installed subs) BMW Individual 'Entrance Strips'. In terms of maintenance, the car was first purchased from Barons BMW of Farnborough on the 20th June 2002 and was serviced by them for a number of years. The car has a full documented service record, complete with receipts, MOTs, tax discs (yes, remember those!) and all supporting documents, owners manuals etc. In my ownership, the car has been maintained by the best in the business when it comes to E39 servicing. I initially used Phil Crouch from CPC Performance Engineering for a number of years and more recently BMW specialists Classic Heroes. Outside of regular servicing, its had a number of genuine parts fitted to keep it running perfectly.
