This 1961 Daimler was resprayed in this very eye catching colour, Ferrari Verde Chiarro when it had a full body off and rebuild. The body shell in glass fibre is in excellent condition. Combined with an immaculate interrior and colour coded green Suffolk seats ( with headrests ) is a very striking package. Wire chrome and stainless steel wheels complement the other chrome work throughout the car. Under the bonnet the engine bay is unusually sprayed black but do not be decieved the V8 140BHP 2500cc engine is a dream. With high torque acceleration is excellent, as is the tone from the exausts of the V8. Not a show car but a very much used, well maintained and serviced car. MOT to October 2024. The internal space is complemented by a sizable boot and additional luggage space on the rear bench seat. The chassis has been wax oiled twice in the last decade.
