2007 Mercedes-Benz GL500 V8 is a luxurious and powerful SUV vehicle with a range of advanced features. It boasts a 5.5 litre engine, with 385BHP, and a 4-wheel drive drivetrain. These are quiet rare with only 40 on the road in the UK, given they were over 100k when new in 2007!This car has a black metallic exterior with chrome highlights and the Mercedes exclusive grey leather interior with seating for 7 passengers. The rear 2 seats are electric and fold flat into the floor giving a very generous load space in 5 seat configuration. The 3 rear seats also fold flat giving a massive load space, which is very useful for moving large items around. This car is also fitted with the Mercedes Rear Entertainment system. The car also has the command system fitted with Sat Nav as you would expect on an executive Mercedes, which includes a digital TV and radio!. Specifications include climate control, electric windows, tinted rear windows, leather interior, parking sensors, electric heated seats, DVD/CD player, electric folding mirrors, parking assistance, power windows, metallic paint, navigation system, cruise control, power seats, particulate filter, electrochromic interior mirror, folding mirrors, xenon headlights, rear entertainment system, alarm, power locks, CD multichanger, power-assisted steering (PAS), electronic stability control, alloy wheels, and automatic wipers. The rear seats are heated and there is rear climate control etc. There are more options I am sure that I have forgotten, but it is a very large executive vehicle that looks very nice and has a great presence on the road. The GL500 came with the factory fitted off road kit which was an expensive option on the GL line option list. This comes with the inclusion of a proper 2-speed transfer case plus locking centre and rear locking differentials that can transfer 100% of power between the axles or between the wheels in extreme off-road conditions. The package also allowed the driver to raise and lower the air suspension to increase ground clearance, and the also has a very robust metal sump protector to protect the car when driving off road (I am certain this car has never been off road though, probably why this option is so rare!).It has a big engine though so please don't expect 30 miles to the gallon. On a run it gets mid 20s and around town 16 to 17, which for such a big car is not awful, but is quiet a thirsty vehicle. If serious please e-mail first, thank you.
