The time has come to sell our precious Beetle cabriolet. This is a very special version of the car for reasons that may not be immediately apparent but I will do my best to explain. The car is a DSG complete with steering wheel paddles and the very special EA888 engine made famous in the Golf R and Audi S3. There are several versions of this engine ranging in power from 200 to 220PS. This is the latest version fitted in the beetle and as such has the highest and most consistent torque figure, making it enormous fun to drive. The car has every available extra, including keyless entry and keyless go, electric folding mirrors, heated leather seats with lumbar support, LED headlights, Hi level reversing camera (retracts inside boot handle), Fender amplifier and speakers with boot mounted subwoofer and corresponding variable colour illumination. Despite being a 2015 car, I have retrofitted the headunit from a later car to provide Apple Carplay. The car has two owners from new and a complete service history including a file of receipts from VW. The car is black with a black roof, the internal leather being two tone red and black leather. In addition there is also fitted a smart top roof module thatg allows the roof to be opened and closed remote by tapping the appropriate button three times and also provides one touch operation from within the car. It also allows the roof to be raised and lowered up to a preset speed though I would not advise that. The car also includes the rare and expensive 18inch discus wheels.
