For sale is my 2005 (20/01/2005 registration date) 997.1 Carrera S manual. Mileage is currently 103,XXX and may rise slightly due to continued occasional use. In my ownership the following has been completed:- Rear bilstein shocks - Rear springs- All rear suspension arms replaced- 4 wheel geometry/ alignment (Feb 2024)- Alternator - Engine Service- Gearbox service- Exhaust flange fixings & gaskets- Coil pack heat shields- Engine mounts. Prior to my ownership: 2022: - Major service incl. spark plugs- Brake fluid change- Wheels refurbished- Front and rear bumpers repainted. 2020: - Clutch & RMS - Major service incl. spark plugs- Front track rods, tie rods, top mounts, ARB links- Front shock absorbers- Aux belt & rollers- Water pump & thermostat- Front coolant pipes. This is a genuinely good example of a well used, but well cared for 997. It drives brilliantly with no concerns whatsoever. Recent work carried out means many more miles of trouble free motoring. I've recently driven it to the Porsche museum in Stuttgart and it was faultless. It has an aftermarket headunit with Apple CarPlay. It also has the desirable hardback sports seats and Bose sound system. Last serviced August 2023 at Porsche specialist. Full Porsche centre service history up to 2018, independent Porsche specialist since. As with any well used, nearly 20 year old car there are some signs of age. There are some signs of wear on the interior touch points (light scratches/scuffs), and a couple of stone chips externally, as with any vehicle of this age. I believe I've priced this sensibly given the age / milage and previous work carried out, but I am open to sensible offers and will be happy to provide any further information.
