3 x owners from new; only 2 families. I purchased this lovely Rover 75 Estate - Moonstone metallic grren in Dec 2017 at 36,456 miles. Current mileage 51,292 miles (less than 2,300 per year). 2 x keys; original floor mats, log book and folder full of history. GOOD Bits: Jan 2018 Cam Belts replaced by Laites Services Derby. Original 3 speed Engine Fan replaced by new 2 speed fan, so no over heating issues. It overheated 3 times in the time I owned it, when stopped for prolonged time in traffic; last time Sep 2021 (dont worry immediately pulled over to let it cool down). Not an issue since fan replaced; been stuck in traffic (joys of Aston motorway) and no problem. Exhaust manifold replaced. VIS Motor Power & VIS Balance replaced 2018 . Windscreen replaced Jan 2024. Passenger window regulators replaced 2018. Great condition...mechanically A1, lovely smooth engine, sits at 750 rpm after 5 minutes. Alloy very good condition. New bolts for alloys Feb 2024. 2 x keys central locking works (but you need to use key to open drivers door)..the ECU at the front is dry and plenum hole clear. Plenty of boot space. Rover 75 are known for leaking, but I have fixed almost all of them. BOOT: yes it was an issue but I have used silicone and no longer a problem..Side leaking on Estates into luggage area..fixed...I have replaced the the side fixing joints on both Right and Left sides and siliconed so no leakage into luggage space..however I cant find the leak which is occurring under the driver seat..A new You Tube video (Feb 2024) has highlighted the issue could be from the dash area. ..MOT until Jan 2025...and Euro 4 (not 3) so can be driven in Clean Air Zone..Paintwork is great and no damage to any of the panels; interior very clean..Electrics. Rear demister and wiper WORKING...heating WORKING...headlights.WORKING..side wing mirrors..NOT WORKING..(maybe a faulty fuse switch but cannot adjust the mirrors) No warning lights on dashboard. ...A/C Not Working I had it regassed last service, but only lasted 2 days. Headlining sagging, I have pinned up; see pictures and door cards partially unglued. This is a 23 year old car which has been really well looked after and has less than 52,000 miles use. Very few on the road now; have done 3 x trips to Swansea and didn't see another. Still got plenty of years motoring.
