My lovely 2.8 Z3 Widebody is for sale. I bought the car in April 2019 it has completed just over 4800 miles, since the last MOT 259 miles, I will be sorry to see it go but it's just not getting enough use as I have others and I would like someone else to now enjoy it. The car is great fun to drive with a gloriously smooth straight six, it makes for a great soundtrack, its quick enough but not scarily so, handles very well, with, as I understand it, dealer fit from new 18" wheels with same size front and rear. There are other nonstandard parts which I've fitted that I think complement the car, namely an age related M3 Steering wheel and chrome reflector head lamps with clear lenses, please note the Angel Eyes are not wired in. The originals will be with the car at sale. The original headlamps are slightly fogged but will pass an MOT if required. A common fault with the Z3 is seat bushes become worn leading to the seat rocking back and forth on acceleration and braking, the passenger seat has had the bushes replaced with Nylon which permanently fixes the issue, Drivers set bushes with the car , not needed to be fitted at the moment. The car has undergone extensive mechanical refurbishment during my ownership, and this is listed below: April 2024 New 5 year guarantee heavy duty battery, guarantee with car. 2023 - All Fixed brake pipes replaced. All Flexible brake hoses replaced . Both track rod ends replaced. All antiroll bar bushes replaced (Standard material) All Steering rack bushes (Standard material). All four roadwheels stripped and powder coated still look like new. 2019 to 2022 New radiator fitted. New top and bottom radiator hoses . New water pump. New Thermostat .New Expansion Tank and Radiator Cap fitted. Cooling system flushed, and antifreeze replaced. New Coil packs x 6 fitted. New old stock ECU. New spark plugs x 6. New clutch slave cylinder - Hydraulic fluid replace with new. Headlamps replaced. Foglamp replaced with new old stock. New front side light lenses. New brake master cylinder, brake fluid replaced. The body work is in good condition with marks you would expect on a 27 year old car on original paint, a new hood would be a good idea and the car is priced in reflection of this, its looking a little tired.
