Fitted with the XU10J4RS engine - as used in the 306 GTI-6 - 165 BHP. Please note: This car has a five-speed gearbox, so the engine probably came from a Citroen Xsara VTS. MOT until March 2025.Always starts on the button and is great fun to drive, with 25% more power than the standard 2.0 litre engine giving it the extra zip it deserves! I have two other cars and this isn't getting used so, as much as I love it, it's time to let someone else enjoy it this summer. Since getting the car in January 2021, I've fitted the following: New Bilstein B8 front shocks, new Eibach springs - lower by 30mm, new top-mounts, tie-rods, drop links and ball joints, refurbished rear axle and new AVO TD572 shocks - ride height set to match the front, refurbished front calipers (54mm) with new discs (266mm), new Mintex M1144 pads, new strut-to-hub bolts, seals etc., new rear brake calipers, discs and new Mintex M1144 pads, new rear handbrake cables, new braided stainless steel brake lines all round, new uprated brake master cylinder (25.4mm), new INOX stainless steel back-box (sporty sound without being at all lairy!), new centre exhaust section, new Bosch lambda sensor. I've just fitted (March 2024) a new catalytic converter as the old one caused an MOT failure on emissions, complete new set of hydraulic hoses for the roof mechanism, new fuel-pump/sender unit, new battery, new Bosch Aerotwin wipers, new clutch cable, new 14-inch Momo steering wheel and boss kit, used instrument cluster, new Alpine UTE-204 head-unit - DAB, Bluetooth (with microphone for phone). I also fixed the third brake-light on the boot lid, replaced all the bulbs in the rear lights and re-covered the roof storage bay cover. It had a new windscreen fitted in May 2022.Last summer (2023). I cleaned and re-oiled the K&N air-filter fitted to the car and changed the oil and oil filter. The car has covered only a few miles since then and has been laid up since August 2023. The car has an OMP upper strut brace, and I fitted it with the 16" Fox alloy wheels from my previous 306.
