Description

This car has been a dream to own and run over the last few years. It was purchased mainly to be used for some promotional work for my company and to take it to Austria to travel around in the summers. Always garaged. I am relocating to Berlin and don't want to take it with me so selling. However I am in no rush so I won't be entertaining any silly offers.Genuine low mileage example which is now both tax and MOT exempt! Beautiful condition inside and out with subtle modifications which I think really enhance the look of the car. It is lowered slightly (not sure on the exact amount), it is fitted with the BBS front spoiler which was originally a modification back in the day, the aftermarket wheels and classic style bucket seats. Also has had a Webasto vinyl sunroof, which again was popular back in the 70s/80s. It drives superb, pulls great and keeps up with modern traffic. Clutch bite is good, gearbox is smooth, no knocks, bangs or rattles and no leaks! Driving around this car gets far more attention, head turners and fans than any car I have ever owned before, that's before they hear the classic 6 cylinder note! The bodywork is very good with no dings or dents, the underside is clean, sills and arches are free from rust. Judging by the condition I would say that was subject to a respray in the not so distant past, however there is not an invoice present to confirm. But I have checked the VIN and it was definitely silver when it left the factory. It's quite clearly been well looked after through its life and was previously a BMW owners club car. With regards to paperwork the owners handbook and the European service map book is present. There are various invoices from odd iobs over the years and a whole stack of MOT certificates with it.It really does need to be seen, heard and driven to be appreciated.Anv questions then please do not hesitate to ask Next MOT due 05/05/2023, Silver, 5+ owners, £38,000
