Description

A very smart example of the acclaimed high-performance grand tourer, benefiting from a comprehensive service history. Under the bonnet is the 5.9-litre V12 engine, delivering 510bhp to the rear wheels through a six-speed 'Touchtronic II' semi-automatic transmission with paddle shift. It features the optional 2+2 seating arrangement. The V5C shows five keepers in total (including myself as the current keeper). I've owned the car for just under three years. The odometer shows 37,000 miles from new. This DBS is finished in the launch colour of Lightning Silver, complemented by an interior upholstered in Obsidian Black leather with contrast silver coarse stitching and black Alcantara. The exterior features carbon-fibre front splitters, carbon-fibre door mirrors and stalks, a carbon rear diffuser, and carbon-fibre tail light inserts. It rides on 20-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, finished in black with machined facings, housing black brake callipers and ceramic brake discs. Inside, the Obsidian Black leather covers the seat bolsters, headrests, dashboard and transmission tunnel, while the Alcantara is used for the seat centre panels, steering wheel rim, and the headliner. There is carbon-fibre trim for the door pull and door cappings. Equipment includes electrically adjustable front seats with memory settings, climate control, cruise control, adjustable dampers, Sport mode, and the Bang & Olufsen sound system. The secondary exhaust catalysts have been replaced with Quicksilver pipes, and a rocker switch has been fitted to the steering column cowling to allow for manual override of exhaust values. This work was completed by specialist Nicholas Mee in 2020. The only other upgrade is Apple CarPlay connectivity, which was installed by Aston Installations in 2020. Accompanying the car is the original stamped service book going back to 2010, service paperwork covering the period from 2014 to the present day, and documentation for the Quicksilver exhaust and AirPlay system. The vehicle condition is excellent. There is slight corrosion just below the passenger side door handle (a common foible in Aston Martins of this era). The paintwork is otherwise excellent, and I believe a previous owner had PPF on the car during their tenure. Inside, there is some wear on the driver's seat outer bolster, but generally the interior is in superb order. The tyres were fitted three years ago and have only covered 6,000 miles. I am not aware of any mechanical or electrical faults. Next MOT due 20/07/2024, Silver, 4 owners, £67,850
