Hello, hello, hello. Are you looking for a cheap project car? Well look no further. Here we have a cheap late 2009 59 Volvo V70 2.4 D5 Turbo Diesel - although on this particular example the turbo doesn’t seem to be engaging and is leaking oil from said turbo. It’s only had two owners, the first being West Yorkshire constabulary so I can assume for 5 years this car has been driven at 150MPH whilst catching criminals and been generally abused like a coffee machine in an office. The second owner had multiple dogs (dog guard included) and a penchant for Benson & Hedges (it stinks). All four tyres are old and cracking on the sidewall. The scuttle panel is full of water, when you take a corner it sounds as though you’re on the log flume at Alton Towers. The bodywork is very flat and you can see where it’s had its high-vis POLICE stickers, this may buff back to a shine but you’ll end up with arms like Popeye. It’s a cheap car but it does have its issues, not unlike many of the ne’er-do-wells who have been sat in the back during its time with the five-O, I assume.
