Just serviced and MOT'd (with no advisories) and 2 Keys, it's all ready for the summer; my stunning Mazda MX5 with electric Retractable Folding hard top roof giving you extra security, insulation and a much quieter ride. This takes about 12 seconds to completely fold down (the operation looks spectacular while it folds) and then it disappears without impacting on the boot space at all. This means you still have space for 2 small cases. We have been away in it for 2 weeks without any problem luggage wise, you just need to pack carefully. It looks so cool with the roof down. I've had the car 2 years and done about 5k miles in it. The condition is, I would say excellent for the year and mileage. I can honestly say it's been a total joy to own and drive. Cheap to tax and insure and 100% reliable. You get 50mpg on the motorway, 43mpg generally. Handling is sublime, perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Performance is just right, it's pretty nippy and this GT Sport model benefits from extra horsepower. The 6 speed gearbox is short and sweet and feels very sporty. I love the fact it feels like you're going really fast when you are only doing 60mph. You get all the fun without the speeding tickets! When I purchased the car, all the wheels rims were professionally refurbished by the dealership, and the brake discs, brake pads and tyres were all brand new. They brakes are only now just 10% worn, and the tyres are all even at 6mm tread (still got the red line around the tread from new), so a lot of miles left in them yet (see vehicle health check photo). The soft brown Nappa Leather seats are super comfortable and supportive, and there are speakers in the headrests too from the superb BOSE sound system with CD player (not found on later models). It has all the mod cons being the top of the range model.
