Description

Reluctant sale of my Mazda MX5 ND 1.5. This car has had two lady owners, full service and mot history with paperwork and some very light (reversible) modifications. ~~~~ The chassis was originally designed with the 1.5L engine in mind hence why I chose this over the heavier 2.0L model. It has plenty of power for the weight of the car and shines particularly around town and on B roads. That being said I've driven it to Scotland and back with no complaints, so it's a great all rounder in terms of drivability. ~~~~ Since the car has been so reliable, I decided to put my money into some light modification that has enhanced the already fantastic drivability of this car just a little more. These upgrades include; OEM Bilstein Sport Suspension ~ EBC Drilled Brake discs ~ EBC Green Brake pads ~ OEM Aero front splitter ~ Rota GTR wheels ~ Nankang NS2R tyres ~ CarbonMiata 3 piece spoiler ~ ISR Exhaust ~ K&N Air Filter ~~~~The suspension is a factory upgrade that came was an option on some trim levels. It only lowers the car by a couple of millimetres and is the perfect balance of being slightly firmer whilst still being comfortable going over bumps and pot holes. It also situates the wheel in the arches just right, whereas from standard I think the wheels look lost in those arches. This is also helped by the wheel and tyre combo that I have put on the car. ~~~~ The brake pads and disks made a big difference to the braking performance and for the price it's a bit of a no brainer. Plenty of life left in both. ~~~~ The paintwork has been my greatest expense as I like my cars to look perfect for car shows. I had the whole car paint corrected, front and rear bumpers de-badged and smoothed. Then added the little touches including the OEM front splitter and aftermarket rear lip. ~~~~ The exhaust is probably my favourite upgrade of all, it turns this car from a fun car into feeling like a proper sports car. The sound was the biggest let down when I bought this car and this exhaust just brings it to life! Although I do understand it may not be to everyone's taste so I can provide the car with its standard exhaust if you'd like. ~~~~This car now sits and drives as it should have from the factory in my opinion. It drives absolutely spot on, fantastic grip from the suspension and tyres. Stops on a dime with the brake upgrades. Stands out from the crowd with its paintwork and small visual upgrades. Sounds absolutely sensational. I'll be gutted to see it go but sadly needs must. Next MOT due 02/11/2024, Red, 1 owner, £10,500
