** PX Welcome ** Extremely rare very early build ( May 1984, MK2 XR2 production only began April 1984 so this could be within days or weeks of the first car ). I'm aware that there are a few B Registered cars around but I'm referring to the date of build when I say it's the earliest known example. The date is pretty easy to decode and this is as mentioned a May 1984 build.1 Owner from new ( 0 previous owners on the V5 which is the old style )Completely original unrestored car, yes it's had touch ups over the years ( and a slightly newer stereo fitted ) but all in it's completely original both mechanically and bodily. I would say that the leading edge of the bonnet has been touched in and sprayed and the bottom of the drivers door / rear quarter also.Never welded, extremely solid car.Lots of history and invoices plus pretty much all of it's old tax discs up to 95'*** Numbers matching car ***Wheels are original to the car and are date stamped 04/84.Undersealed from new.Lots of rare early parts which include but limited to - * Rainbow Interior * Side Indicator Delete* Cassette Drawer* Electric Boot Release* Metal Fan Shroud* Weber 32/34 Carb ( Rebuilt Last Month And Original To The Car )* External Spark Amplifier* Early Head Rests* Map Pocket On Seat Rear* 20 Slot Scuttle Panel And much more which identifies this as a very early car.They're only original once!!Interior shows little wear and all the rare to find parts are still with the car, parcel shelf is uncut as are the door panels.
