Description

2003 330i Auto Saloon (E46) in silver grey metallic on around 90k miles (may rise slightly as the car is being used for the odd journey). I have owned and daily driven this car for just over 2 years now. Very low miles for one of these! Full service history - all work in my ownership has been done by a local BMW specialist or myself. Tan leather, with light birch wood trim. The tan/birch combination is a very rare - I don't think I've ever seen one in the same spec before. I'm told that it started life as a BMW main dealer principle's company car, hence the high spec. It has:- Tan heated electric memory seats- Electric power folding mirrors (also memory)- Sat nav / TV screen- Xenon headlights- Split fold rear seats (another rare option on a saloon)- Cruise - Harmon Kardon audio. It's an SE spec, but does have the MV2 wheels that usually cam with the M Sport optioned cars. All four tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres - all with decent tread. The car is generally in good condition for its age. The paintwork is generally in good condition, although it does have a few age related marks - I have included these in the photos where I can. It does have a 20p sized patch of rust starting on the rear arches - this looks like it could be sorted relatively easily. Interior wise the car is in good condition for it's age - there is a bit of wear on the console trims (which happens to them all) and a bit of wear to the wheel, but other than that it is looking really good. The back seats have only one or two very small marks where the previous owner had carried things on them. The car drives really well. The engine still feels powerful and the gearbox responds nice and quickly and reacts as you'd expect. The M54 3 litre engine in the 330i's is such a great engine, silky smooth and plenty of power. No particular issues to note with the drive of the car - it has just had new front brake calliper, control arm bushes and discs. It had a new battery last year and starts first try every time. I serviced the car in August of last year (at 86,500 miles), including oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, rocker cover gaskets, spark plugs, oil level sensor, all done with quality parts (Bosch, Febi Bilstein, Mann, NGK, Hella, Castrol). Selling as I have recently moved house - I'm doing a lot more mileage so I'm looking for a diesel. I'll honestly miss this car, I love the spec and it has never let me down. I have just done a 2k mile trip around Scotland and it was faultless. Next MOT due 11/10/2024, Silver, 5+ owners, £4,750
