Description

My Porsche Boxster 986s for sale. I had purchased this Boxster as a bucket list item, as it was the first model car I ever bought. The intention was that I was going to keep this car forever more, and hence the amount of money I have pumped into restoring it. Unfortunately, life isn't always as we expect and I am needing to sell to fund a more sensible family wagon. I started refreshing the car when I bought it back in 2021, and have refreshed the suspension front and back. Brakes have been refurbished in the last 12 months. I have added in the Porsche PCCM+ unit to modernise the interior - Essentially a new headunit, providing Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay etc. This was an expensive genuine Porsche aftermarket addition to the car, which is a game changer. I have done a whole host of other refreshes too, which I have all the receipt for. I have only used well renowned Porsche Specialists for the works - JZM Porsche and AMS Porsche. Recent servicing history at AMS Porsche. The car is fantastic and I will miss it dearly. It is far more usable than you would expect, and practical with two boots. I have spent well over 15,000 so far on my restoration and upgrades, and although it is not perfect, the only bits left to do are mainly aesthetics (Roof + Wheels). Body-work and interior both in very good condition, considering the age, though does have some small age related blemishes. Mileage: 75,000, Porsche PCCM+, 3.2 Litre Engine - Hasn't missed a beat since owning, Blue Leather Interior, Sports Seats, Bose Sound System, 19" Alloy Wheels (could do with refurb, see pics), Michelin Pilot Sport 5 all round (plenty of tread left), Full Brake refurb inc new discs and pads (circa 12 months ago) Clutch / Gearbox are working OK, Roof is fine, though doesn't like it when it pours down - I have a cover which will come with it, Air-con was replaced recently, 2 x Keys, Extra benefits now it is deemed a 'Classic Car' - Free ULEZ & Lots of Porsche Manufactures parts still available. Cons to owning a 'Classic Car' is that it will need maintaining (!) and Porsches can be expensive to keep. If you have any further questions, please feel free to drop me a message. The lucky buyer will have a brilliant time over the summer. Next MOT due 05/07/2024, Silver, 5+ owners, £14,500
