Available for sale is my Lexus LS400. Selling due to restricted usage, as I am in the ULEZ border. This particular example is a later model Mk4 that introduced a more powerful and economical VVTi version of the 1UZ-FE engine, 5 speed automatic transmission, sat nav, facelift front end and softer leather as well as the optional wood package. Mechanically the car is in very good shape. It passed the last MOT with no advisories. It drives extremely well and in an arrow straight line. There are no suspension clunks or bangs. The transmission is smooth and shifts exactly as it should. The engine starts on the button and pulls very well. Tyres are all on around 6mm+ of tread and the brakes haul the car up well. Cosmetically the car is also in good order. It is not perfect but I would suggest it is within the expectations for an unrestored 25 year old car. Look closely and there is some minor lacquer peel, a couple of bubbles and some touched up scratches, but the overall appearance is as good as the photos suggest and there are no dents. The wheels have been very recently refurbished. Inside the car is also in very good shape, with a degree of expected wear again within the expectations of an car of this age. The leather is in good shape, there are no tears or holes in the upholstery, and the carpets look clean and presentable. The car comes with all book packs and some supporting invoices for work carried out, although there is little by the way of service history as the service book is not present with the car, assumed missing amongst the previous deceased owner's estate. This is not a potential concourse prize winning example. It is however, in my opinion, in much better shape than some of the remaining LS400's available for sale and would not look out of place in any local classic car meet up.
