I purchased this 1 owner car in May 2015 with 3,458 miles on the clock to primarily to do a CLNW Lotus trip to Stelvio Pass. The car was owned by a motor dealer and it sat in his showroom for many years, only moving to be MOT'd each year. Surprisingly it was never serviced and when I had it transported to the original supplying dealer Murray Motors in Edinburgh the service manager commented that it was like doing a PDI on a new car. I had all the belts changed, full service carried out and as it was on the original tyres I had them replaced. Before the Stelvio trip I also upgrade the front brakes to PNM 283mm Vented Disks and Brake pads. I also replaced the original radio/tape player with a DAB Sony unit. I will include the original Radio/Tape player with the car. It was my intention to sell the car on my return from the Stelvio trip but I loved it so much that I decided to add it to my Lotus collection. The car has been well used on numerous trips to Europe over the 9 years of my ownership and the mileage now sits at 27,400 which is still low mileage for this 30 years old car.
