For sale from my private collection being reduced for personal reasons (MY Age), is my 944S. This car has had only 2 previous owners. First for 2 years. Second for 25 years and third (me) for 10 years. Both the previous owner and I have kept the car in a heated garage, sparingly used on dry days only, but sadly time to find its next owner. The 944S 16v is a RARE option on a 944. Only 12936 were made with 8815 of them being sent to USA. Leaving only 4121 within Europe and the UK. Online data showed that at 2023 Q4 there are only 408 still registered in the UK WITH ONLY 111 on the road. The 944s(super) is the 16v ventler engine producing 190 BHP compared to the standard 165 BHP. It also has, as standard, an upgraded gearbox with ratios matching the turbo model. It was only made for two years from 1987 / 1988 I have an extensive file showing full history including 21 MOT certificates back to May 2000 . Receipts for works done going back to 1990. Every tax disc from 1991-2014 when tax discs were abolished. I have previous log book showing both former keepers and of course current log book in my name. The car is in stunning Guards Red, which is original, and was ceramic coated in 2019. Its interior is absolutely un marked with no cracks or tears in any of the seats dashboard etc. the half leather with white pinstripes are personally my favourite colour option. I have the original leatherette bag for the removable sunroof which sits perfectly in the rear boot space. The rear seats have lap seatbelt and fold down if more boot space is needed on the weekends away. Original unused spare wheel. The wheels have been fully refurbished and are unmarked with new centre caps. MOT history confirms its genuine low miles (which might go up slightly with the good weather arriving).
