Colour is British Racing with chrome wire wheels. I bought the car in 1997 having seen an article in Classic Cars June edition which featured cars that had received a new British Motor Heritage bodyshell. A copy of the magazine comes with the comprehensive documents of the cars history.I bought it because it had received full body off nut and bolt rebuild during 1992/93. Starting with shot blasting and strengthening the chassis which was then galvanised. Then the rest was then completed to an exceptionally high standard. The rebuild is fully documented with photos of each stage of the process and supporting invoices for all the parts and work done. The engine was fully overhauled during the rebuild has now covered approx. 18,000 miles.This engine was rebored +20 and fitted with new pistons (was 125 bhp now 150 bhp)Crankshaft reground and balanced. The car was thoroughly wax oiled during the rebuild. The engine has been converted to run on unleaded fuel. Recently I have fitted wheel arch protectors front and back and has recently had a new clutch master cylinder fitted.The car has been looked after mechanically and services annually by a local garage with a mechanic who has a long history looking after classic cars.
