This Jaguar XJ has come to us in part exchange, it is offered on a trade basis with no warranty given or implied. I will describe the car in as much detail as possible!Lets start with the positive things! It drives very well, the engine runs beautifully, the gearbox is very smooth and changes gear seamlessly. There isn't any knocks from the suspension and it rides very well. The roof lining is in excellent condition and looks to have been replaced recently. It comes with two keys and various spares. The radio, cruise control, electric windows, electric mirrors all work as they should.The items that will require attention, the drivers side sill will almost certainly require welding for the next MOT, the paintwork isn't the best and the bonnet is very flat, there's corrosion around the front and rear windscreens (usual places) and bubbling around the rear arches. The wheels also have corrosion as well. The leather interior is showing signs of wear on the steering wheel and seats and would benefit from a detailed valet as does the carpet.Overall it would make the great basis for a small project and a fantastic car. The previous owner had the car for 20 years and has purchased another Jaguar.
