This is my 2008 1 series 1.6L hatchback. 6 speed manual gearbox. It has served me very well for the last couple of years, used day in day out for work and personal use, just selling due to an Upgrade. Theres obviously cosmetic / general wear and tear around the car due to the age of it - scratches / scrapes etc but no big dents or extreme cracks etc. have tried my best to show these in the photos on the advert. The steering wheel is worn down in the middles and at the top - this is due to usage over the years. There are no modifications etc to the car. The rear brakes squeak when pulling away but only if parked on a hill / elevation. I will try to apply some brake cleaner before anyone is interested in purchasing but no promises. The current mileage is 96k, this could go up slightly as I will be using it as my day to day until it sells. The car will show up as CAT N on background checks , this was due to an engine recall at the time, not structural - it was replaced under warranty in 2021/22 at 79k miles. The current engine has only done 17k miles. Last MOT has no severe on it - has advisories, generic stuff really: near side rear tyre, minor exhaust leak, suspension arm worn but no excessive movement It's got a pretty decent service history. At the last MOT the handbrake was replaced & tuned. I'll be honest I've never looked through any of the paperwork, history and garage stuff at it as I bought it off a mate but he gave me loads of paperwork from before but I don't think there's any paperwork for the engine change as he done it off the job at his work garage when he had spare time - it wasn't logged on his records etc. the petrol flap doesn't always sit in the latch correctly / lock, I've never made the effort to fix this as it didn't affect the driving or bother me. The front 2 seats are stained a bit - it was like this when I bought it, never bothered to get it detailed etc cos I work on a building site so it would have been pointless for me, I would have just got them dusty and dirty again. Also had both rear drive shafts, ABS sensors and rings replaced last year which I have proof of. **the rear left brake light is cracked but still firmly in tact, and there is a scratch on the rear bumper, I will add this photos in due course as I'm currently listing this whilst away** Welcome to offers / conversation about any thing else needed to know about the car or potential price changes.
