Super cheap to insure, no tax and no MOT needed, a classic piece of 54 year old history. Since 2022 we have spent 3,500GBP and a heap of time on her. Between 2019 to 2021 24,000GBP was spent on her (15k+ by the MGOC) and before that 26,000GBP (by MGOC and other prestige classic car specialists). We stopped counting all the bills after 50,000GBP over the past 20 years. We have kept all the history of this car as best we can including MOTs etc etc. This car has a new mohair roof and new chrome wire wheels and MGOC at Swavesey have just put in servo brakes and new fuel pumps, sparks, leads etc etc. It already has an oil cooler. The car comes with working overdrive and lives safely garaged and dry. It doesn't come out in the rain. The carpets are good and the seats have red piping, we've added red seat belts to match the piping. We bought this car (on the advice of the MGOC!) two years ago, the previous keeper, a lovely lady had the car for many years - but we simply are not using it - we want it ridden not hidden. The car is in Grade 2 condition and a fine head turner, if we were keeping it we would probably be putting in a walnut dash at some point. And - it goes really well.
