My Lotus Esprit Turbo came off the production line in December 1988. It is an x 180. I have owned this car for 15 years and have lovingly maintained and cherished it over the years. The time has come to sell as l am getting rather long in the tooth. It comes with an extensive service history. Since owning it l have carried out the servicing ( l am a retired motor mechanic. ) Also , PNM of Wallasey on the Wirral , Lotus specialist , has supplied genuine parts and tuned the vehicle and replaced the cam belt and tensioner at 71000 miles. I have fitted many new , genuine parts including : left hand side petrol tank , windscreen , air con valve and receiver drier , tailgate struts , radiator and hoses , front brake callipers , discs and pads all round , the leather seats have been renovated by specialists and new head lining fitted , stainless exhaust and many other items. The car comes with various new spare parts and three genuine Lotus workshop manuals. Included is the Lotus certificate of Provenance , supplied by Lotus at Hethel. The current number plate does not come with the car, so it will revert to its original registration number. It flew through its MOT last week with no advisories.
