DescriptionMk1 manual 3.2TT. I've owned this car for approximately 3 years of it's 19 year life. It's been garaged for this time and was garaged by the previous owner. I'm selling as I've had to knock my garage down and now have nowhere to store properly. If you look at the MOT history you can see I've not driven it much; a second car for summer months. I have spent a huge amount on maintaining this car doing the big required job on these 3.2TTs. Timing chain replaced at awesome GTI at a cost to me of over 3K. Be extremely cautious buying a 3.2TT of this age without this work. They all stretch and require changing at some point. New spark plugs and coil pack. Front break calipers replaced. Full haldex service and it had a new battery this year too. This ontop of regular servicing. What I've spent on this vehicle in the few years I've owned it is more than I'm selling it for. The car runs perfectly and the body work is very good for the age. I've also installed a Bluetooth music player that integrates into the original head unit. This is the model with the Bose sound system. The CD changer does not work as the lasers go, and I suspect it's not worked for ten years. This is usual for these cars. As well as the none standard wheels on the car I do have the original wheels as part of the sale. The last owner got them reconditioned and they look excellent. But the original wheels do need new tyres whereas the tyres on the car are fine. I'd like to sell the car to somebody who will store it properly and look after it as it should be. Questions welcomed.
