A well looked after car! Just had a full service and full valet including new tyres, 3/4 tank of diesel - then failed MOT. Due to garage crowding it missed the 10 day allowence to get the issues fixed. Full service history including replaced clutch. Issues all have quotes to be fixed; 1) Supplementary restraint system warning lamp indicates a fault (7.1.6 (a)) - Main driver airbag sensor needs to be replaced. Original part form Jeep dealer is 500pounds or available on ebay for approx 30pounds. 2)Engine MIL inoperative or indicates a malfunction - is the DPF sensor needs to be replaced approx 30 pounds. 3) Nearside Front Lower Suspension arm ball joint excessively worn (5.3.4 (a) (i)) an easy enough fix. It is a great car and doesnt deserve to be scrapped. It is safe, solid and comfortable. I plan to leave the country within a few months so needs to be sold regardless.
